Austrian-born Monique Mader founded and runs Keys to Music.

 At age 13, Monique made her debut as soloist with the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra. The winner of numerous competitions and scholarships, she obtained her Licentiate from the Royal Schools of Music. After successfully completing her first University degree, she obtained a post-graduate qualification in Education. 

 Monique studied under the legendary concert pianist John Antoniadis, a student of the renowned Claudio Arrau.

“I am here to share my love for Music and for the Piano in particular” she said at a recent informal interview. "In a time of accelerated change and high levels of stress, Music takes us to an inner plane where transformation, integration and healing occur spontaneously."  

Keys to Music is a well established private Music Studio in Sandton.  

 Tuition is offered in Piano, Keyboard, Theory of Music, Harmony, Composition and Music Appreciation. 

 The Studio is abuzz with budding musicians at all levels, from beginners to advanced, aged 7 to 70, studying one or any combination of the disciplines and courses on offer. 

 Tuition is individualised and Student-centred to meet the specific objectives of each individual, e.g. to progress through the UNISA, Trinity College or other external Examinations, to play the Piano / Keyboard for recreation and enjoyment, to learn to extemporise etc.
